This list is for providing you with easy access to these "useful" Web pages. Use of the products and services offered on any of these Web pages is at your own risk!   1. Orbitz - an alternative to Priceline for airline tickets; Also visit "Hotwire", "SideStep" (download required), "Travelocity" and "Expedia".
  2. PriceGrabber - an Internet shopping resource; also visit the popular "MySimon" site too.
  3. NTFAQ - great resource to know for working with Windows NT; it has been renamed but I still like to call it by the original (easier to remember). Also visit "NTBugtraq" and "ExchangeAdmin".
  4. SmartBargains - exchanges for buying and selling consumer products. Also visit "Overstock", "RedtagBiz", "RetailExchange", "iSolve", "AllBusiness Barter" (formerly BigVine), and "TradeOut"
  5. Website Recycling Company (Webreco) - market place for the resale and licensing of Internet infrastructure (for buyers and sellers of Internet intellectual property).
  6. CarQ - a resource to know if you're shopping for a car (or selling too). Also visit "The Kelley Blue Book", "Autobytel", "CarsDirect", "MSN's Carpoint", "CarBargains", "GM BuyPower", and "Consumer Reports" (you'll have to pay for reports).
  7. PhoneFree - free PC-toPC calls worldwide; also check out "DialPad", and "HotTelephone"; another alternative is "Wowring".
  8. Audiofind - a multimedia search engine. Napster users will appreciate this one!
  9. 4Arrow - a resource that rates the free "eServices" available; useful for Web developers.
  10. LinuxApps - a Linux resource that covers just about everything (by Internet.com); also visit "Linux Format".
  11. GotoMyDoc - although limited in (geographic) accessibity; take a look at the way the Internet and Web can be used for your health care.
  12. janCentral - an exchange for the marketplace of janitorial supplies and services for you to buy and sell.
  13. VoltageValet - useful site for computer users if you travel overseas; info about converters and transformers.

  15. mcgavel - a searchable resource for the meeting and travel industry. Also visit "50States"and "Digital-Neighbors" for lots of excellent reference info!
  16. Agentland - a resource dedicated to intelligent agents that make finding information on the Web easier (ie. shopping, news and medical searches, and more). Also visit "BotSpot".
  17. FreeAnswers - helps you solve computer-related problems by asking questions in plain, everyday language (limited to specific vendors).
  18. SecurityWatch - excellent resource to keep up on security issues, hacks, viruses and more
  19. GasPriceWatch - as of 5/7/01 there were "636,070 prices updated weekly"; useful if you are planning a trip.
  20. Mail2Web - check your email from any computer, anywhere in the world (no need to register). The "Internet Email List" will also be a resource you want to know.
  21. Quia - (pronounced key-uh; "Quintessential Instructional Archive"). 500,000 activites for learning; helps teachers teach better by giving them the tools to create, customize, and share learning activities. Quia helps students learn more by bringing the resources of hundreds of thousands of educators together in one place.
  22. SpyChecker - Not sure if the free software you are about to download is in fact a so called Spyware, or adware or otherwise advertising enhanced product that installs additional third party components on your system? Do a search and know!
  23. OmniChoice - helps businesses sort through the choices for Internet Service Providers, Telecommunications Services (including wireless and long distance) and more.
  24. Public Agenda - a resource that covers public opinion and policy analysis.
  25. GOTO Software - some interesting and useful products to check out.
  26. Obsolete Computer Museum - is your computer on the list? Or re-visit your past!
  27. The Deaf Resource Library - reference material and links intended to educate and inform people about Deaf cultures in Japan and the U.S.
  28. Web Cams of the World - organized access to Web cams around the world.
  29. Wisconsin.gov - the new name and link for Wisconsin's Web portal to state information resources.
  30. PHP-Nuke.org - if you want something that is free and can change your Web site then you should visit this one!
  31. Auctiva - a ecommerce solution for individuals or small businesses.

Extra Link 5:THINKQUEST Information! (My neighbor's won 2x! Now he's a sophmore at Harvard!): - ThinkQuest and "ThinkQuest Junior" - "an annual contest that challenges students, ages 10 to 19, to use the Internet as a collaborative, interactive teaching and learning tool".
