  1. FINRA.org - [Financial Industry Regulatory Authority] FINRA is the largest independent regulator for all securities firms doing business in the United States. FINRA oversee nearly 5,000 brokerage firms, 175,000 branch offices and 680,000 registered securities representatives. Their chief role is to protect investors by maintaining the fairness of the U.S. capital markets. A good resource to help find answers about your financial issues.
  2. Nadaguides.com - new and used car pricing, car reviews and more. Also visit: "KBB.com" and "Edmunds.com".
  3. TheMSsForum.com - The Microsoft Software Forums; independent discussion resource about help with using Microsoft's software products.
  4. VistaHeads.com - resource that helps support Windows Vista Operating System; includes Vista tips, information, news, and "tech support forums".
  5. thevistaforums.com - a searchable Windows Vista tech support resource that includes forums, blogs and more.
  6. Use.com - free image hosting - can also be used for selling items on eBay.
  7. SportSpyder.com - searchable sports and sports news resource.
  8. CarDomain.com - browse 635,000+ custom cars and trucks at the world's largest car show; place to show off your "ride".
  9. Windows-Help-Central.com - a resource to help you with Windows (primarily XP); includes Windows tips and tricks, free download information and advice to answer your questions and make your time at the computer safer, easier and more fun.
  10. Travellerspoint.com - claims to help nuture the "Travel Addictions" for over 100,000 travellers worldwide; includes a "traveller's forum", blog, photography section and lots more.
  11. Description of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 System File Checker (Sfc.exe) - a Microsoft software tool to help you verify and clean-up your Windows XP installation [SFC /SCANNOW is a way to use it]. The "System File Checker" gives an administrator [you] the ability to scan all protected files to verify their versions.

  14. SlickDeals.net - a resource dedicated to finding you the best deals available online; includes an alert service and 100's of coupons.
  15. ValleyWag.com - Silicon Vally online magazine that reports on tech gossip; [Google "gossip" seems to be quite popular].
  16. HeartCheckmark.org - American Heart Association's Web site that promotes their distinctive symbol on food products that you'll recognize as food that has been screened and verified to meet their certification criteria to be low in saturated fat and cholesterol for healthy people over age 2. Check our their "My Grocery List" feature.
  17. TheOilDrum.com - their mission is to facilitate civil, evidence-based discussions about energy and its impact on our future.
  18. Retrevo.com - a resource that matches people with electronics; find buying guides, online promotions and more.
  19. CrunchGear.com - a tech resource that tries to cover the latest in electronic gadgets. Also visit "Engadget".
  20. Sylvania.com - they are recognized for their light bulbs but there is a lot more here! A very useful Web site about their product offerings, [including access to their coupons and rebates] an online guide for automotive lighting products which features a "Replacement Guide", a listing of "Energy Incentive Programs" and more.
  21. PodCastAlley.com - a Podcast resource; features a Podcast directory and the their "Top 10 Podcasts" as voted on by the listeners.
  22. AngiesList.com - 650,000+ consumers use Angie's List to find high quality contractors, service companies and health care providers.
