  1. DBSTalk.com - a satellite resource that keeps up on technical issues, latest news and has a "searchable discussion forum".
  2. ArticlesBase.com [493,223 published free articles, by 54,598 authors] - wide variety of topics covered that can be used for Web site content and newsletters. Also visit "Scribd".
  3. Zafu.com - called a personal style clothing online store - assists you with best style/best fit solution after you provide your information. Also visit "MyShape".
  4. CollegePublisher.com [College Media Network] - is the largest interactive network of online college newspapers in the United States. All CMN member papers run on College Publisher, the only multimedia publishing platform built specifically for the needs of the campus newsroom. Click on this to "access their college newspaper network".
  5. AirfareWatchdog.com - resource that lists low airfares on all airlines, including Southwest, and includes special fares that you can only buy on the airlines' own sites. Also visit "Away", "BookingBuddy" and "SmarterTravel".
  6. HowToForge.com - a resource provides user-friendly Linux tutorials about almost every topic.
  7. virSCAN.org - resource that provides a free on-line scan service, which checks uploaded files for malware, using antivirus engines.
  8. HighDefForum.com - a HDTV Forum dedicated to the discussion of High Definition Technology with over 90,000+ members; access their useful discussion forums from their homepage.
  9. PointStreak.com - a resource that provides real-time sports statistics for professional and amateur leagues.
  10. YardBarker.com - covers sports rumors including blogs, videos, news, forums and lots more. Also visit "MVN".
  11. Google's New Web Browser for Windows called "Chrome" [Beta Release] - release on 9-2-2008; is a challenge to Microsoft's popular Internet Explorer.

  14. BNET.com [Business Network] - business management resource; includes searchable access to Browse millions of business articles from thousands of trade and general-interest publications.
  15. DiscoverSolarEnergy.com - [not just about solar energy!] resource of more than 9,000+ renewable energy links to relevant websites of individuals, governments and organizations. The links are cross-referenced to help homeowners, engineers, hobbyists, teachers and students find quick answers to issues relating to alternative energy.
  16. WeCanSolveIt.org - is a project of The Alliance for Climate Protection; their mission is about educating people in the US and around the world that the climate crisis is both urgent and solvable.
  17. TreeHugger.com - a resource that is trying to be a one-stop shop for green news, solutions, and product information.
  18. Dwell.com - Web site that supplements the printed magazine; is about life at home in the modern world. Site includes Weblogs about the modern home, kitchen and technology.
  19. IphoneAtlas.com - resource dedicated to the Apple iPhone - guides, help, applications, news and more. [Includes info on "jailbreaking" an iPhone and more.
  20. MacRumors.com - resource that covers rumors and news about Apple and related products.
  21. SearchWarp.com - an online Writer's Community; 5,000+ members (authors) with access to 49,000+ articles for people looking for information on a wide variety of topics.
  22. WiseGeek.com - search through 25,400+ articles for answers for common questions.
  23. WebAnywhere - WebAnywhere is a web-based screen reader for the web. It requires no special software to be installed on the client machine and, therefore, enables blind people to access the web from any computer they happen to have access to that has a sound card.
  24. Windows Vista SP1 - Microsoft's first release [released March 18, 2008] of a Service Pack for their Operating System's (OS) program fixes. If you know someone who has had a problem with Vista system restarts then visit this "Microsoft Tech Page [#949358]" for help - this is prior to Vista SP1 being released.
  25. Windows XP Service Pack 3 - this is Microsoft's Web page to download their latest patches [SP3] to Windows XP.
