  1. ItsNature.org - access to nature pictures and nature videos of various animals from around the globe; includes which animals are dangerously close to extinction and more.
  2. BNET.com [Business Network] - business management resource; includes searchable access to Browse millions of business articles from thousands of trade and general-interest publications.
  3. DiscoverSolarEnergy.com - [not just about solar energy!] resource of more than 9,000+ renewable energy links to relevant websites of individuals, governments and organizations. The links are cross-referenced to help homeowners, engineers, hobbyists, teachers and students find quick answers to issues relating to alternative energy.
  4. WeCanSolveIt.org - is a project of The Alliance for Climate Protection; their mission is about educating people in the US and around the world that the climate crisis is both urgent and solvable.
  5. TreeHugger.com - a resource that is trying to be a one-stop shop for green news, solutions, and product information.
  6. Dwell.com - Web site that supplements the printed magazine; is about life at home in the modern world. Site includes Weblogs about the modern home, kitchen and technology.
  7. IphoneAtlas.com - resource dedicated to the Apple iPhone - guides, help, applications, news and more. [Includes info on "jailbreaking" an iPhone and more.
  8. MacRumors.com - resource that covers rumors and news about Apple and related products.
  9. SearchWarp.com - an online Writer's Community; 5,000+ members (authors) with access to 49,000+ articles for people looking for information on a wide variety of topics.
  10. WiseGeek.com - search through 25,400+ articles for answers for common questions.
  11. WebAnywhere - WebAnywhere is a web-based screen reader for the web. It requires no special software to be installed on the client machine and, therefore, enables blind people to access the web from any computer they happen to have access to that has a sound card.

  16. GreenCarCongress.com - mission is to provide timely, high-quality editorial about energy options, technologies, products, issues and policies related to sustainable mobility.
  17. ExtremeHowTo.com - a well-referenced searchable guide to home improvement. [Online version of print magazine that is searchable with reprinted articles available to viewed]
  18. Wikio.com - a news and information resource that gathers topic info from 57,947 media and weblog resources.
  19. AutoMedia.com [launched 9/2000] - an automotive resource for new and used car prices, reviews, photos, "how to" articles and more. This resources contains 40,000+ pages of original content, including more than 1,500 articles researched by industry experts
  20. BubbleShare.com - a free photo-sharing resource with unlimited storage - to help you share pics with family, friends or anyone.
  21. SimplyHired.com - they claim to be the largest job-search-engine on the Web - search through 6,300,000+ jobs; search for local jobs, identify trends, research salaries, and more. Also visit: "JobVolume", "Jobalot" and "Jobster".
  22. WDFM.com - [Free Subscription] Web Digest for Marketers (WDFM) is a "free" weekly email newsletter that delivers short reviews of marketing-oriented Web sites right to your email inbox. [newsletter has been quoted in the New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Inc. Magazine, CNN, CBS, NPR plus scores of others]
  23. Windows Vista SP1 - Microsoft's first release [released March 18, 2008] of a Service Pack for their Operating System's (OS) program fixes. If you know someone who has had a problem with Vista system restarts then visit this "Microsoft Tech Page [#949358]" for help - this is prior to Vista SP1 being released.
  24. Windows XP Service Pack 3 - this is Microsoft's Web page to download their latest patches [SP3] to Windows XP.
